Arrival and check in was my worst experience. I did arrive early and was able to go ahead and check in but The staff member that was there to check me in was absolutely RUDE. She was talking to someone through her earbuds and when needing my id and card to pay with she looked at me and said “ID” with an attitude then again when asking for card for payment she demanded for card with attitude. We traveled 5.5 hours to stay there and I feel I was treated with a rude attitude. All other staff after that night was exceptionally great and nice. We lost something while there and asked the guy at the front desk if it had been turned in and was told no but he went as far as looking at cameras to see if he could see if it was maybe dropped along the way somewhere while we we there.

The room was clean and a good value for the money. The staff thoughly mop the laminate floors between stays and even cleaned our floor during our stay because we tracked in sand. The location was close to the water with entrances from two streets near a traffic light so it was easy to travel either direction on the strip. I appreciated that the laundry facilities were available 24/7. The desk staff allowed us to choose to stay on the main floor at check in which made it easy to walk our pet. The hotel is extremely pet friendly.

Vmadison

The staff was very friendly and willing to help us in any way. When we needed something the staff was quick to respond and take care of it. The location was great. We were a quick drive to the beach, restaurants or even to drive into Destin. The room was very comfort and everything we needed for our stay. The breakfast was very good and had a nice variety. The music that was played was so encouraging and uplifting as I ate and drank my coffee. I would definitely stay here again if we return.

The facilities are in excellent condition, everything was very clean, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay. There was plenty of parking available, the pool was great, and both check-in and check-out were quick and easy. The breakfast was excellent, with a good variety of hot and cold options — one of the highlights. They also welcomed our dog, which made everything even better.

Not that far to get to the beach which was a plus. The only thing I would have to say is that maybe they could have the pool heated so people can enjoy better.
